And are repelled by large numbers when forking over cash even though it has no bearing on the value. Look at prices and ask yourself why is something 3.99 vs 4. The penny is meaningless but the simple mind thinks its a lower price. If a young man could hold 500 Fairfax shares he would feel better than holding 5.
