indythinker85 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Nice shout out congrats Parsad! I have spoken to some famous value investors (Greenblatt, Chou etc) and many seem to be daily visitors here, keep it up! :D

Guest hellsten Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Thanks for sharing. I think the technique used in the presentation is called Motion Graphics and Kinetic Typography. YouTube has some examples and tutorials: You can use Motion 5 in OSX to create these presentations.
leftcoast Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 What does he use to make such nice presentations? BeerBaron It would be some kind of motion graphics and video compositing software package... probably something like Adobe After Effects .

It's much more intriguing then it's potential 30 bagger. BeerBaron
Mephistopheles Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Anyone know what that letter from Buffett to Mohnish was regarding?
tng Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Anyone know what that letter from Buffett to Mohnish was regarding? That response looks similar to the response Buffett gives to anybody who asks if they can work with him or work for him. When I was younger I wrote Buffett a letter asking if I could intern for him and got a similar response. I'm guessing Mohnish asked Buffett something similar since the letter was dated in 1999, which I think is right before Mohnish started his own investing career.

Buffett told him that he would be better off doing it on his own. Cheers!
