Sriracha sauce...wish this was publicly traded

There is another publicly traded company , SAUCE:TB .

They also has Sriracha-panich sauce for sale in Thailand. But it is a different taste and trademark.

Funny I have had similar thoughts with McIlhenny Company (Tabasco Sauce).

I would absolutely love it... I actually made some comment about wishing hung foy was traded on twitter a while back! :)

 

You have a lot of good things there- an arguably addictive product, great manager, AND it's a great demographic play as well!

Bloomberg BusinessWeek actually did a story on Huy Hong Foods a couple of months ago.  Probably as a result of the Heinz deal.

I wasn't expecting to see a thread on Sriracha sauce on here!  Great sauce with a nice spicy kick to it (Tobasco is like liquid ketchup to me).

I've only got three sauces in the fridge...Heinz, Tobasco and Sriracha

 

There's a pretty good history channel episode on Tobasco...not sure if you can get it on Netflix.

 

EDIT: Oops...I forgot Cholula  (HP sauce from the U.K. is also pretty good but I didn't use it enough)

It was set up many years ago by a lady in her home and now sells by the millions. Privately owned though, but if it ever lists this is the Heinz of China.

Here in Vancouver, I see bottles of the Huy Fong Sriracha sauce all over the place in certain types of Chinese or south east Asian restaurants (the kind with the formica table tops, vinyl upholstered chairs, and neon lighting). The rooster and the funky  lettering are very recognizable. Definitely an up and coming brand.
