Green King
other than looking better how will this improve the efficiency of the forum and the readability? What will the possible second order effect will this cause ? How can this go really badly ? Is it better to do nothing ?

Parsad
We learned our lesson when we were with MSN. Never rely on a 3rd party! Over time the site will be updated, but we will keep it completely independent, so that we archive our own data. We're very happy with Paul Clerc at Watermelon Webworks. Little downtime, if ever, and the speed is good. Paul and his team will help us update the site over time. But it does exactly what it is meant to do, and like you all said...if it ain't broke! Cheers!
valueorama
I have couple of feature request which i think will improve user experience: 1. Next page/prev page link. Especially helpful when you have discussion threads going 100s of pages. 2. Adding Tags to the first post. Tags can be used to search and pull up information faster. Other than that i think this format is fine.

vikx01
One more suggestion: Show recent topics rather than (or in addition to) recent posts on the board's main landing page.
Martian
One more suggestion: Show recent topics rather than (or in addition to) recent posts on the board's main landing page. If you bookmark "http://www.cornerofberkshireandfairfax.ca/forum/unread" it will always show unread recent posts since your last visit
Shawn
I like the boards as is but another good one is vanilla forums, they have some pretty cool features & stuff.
