Such tight defense for 3/4's of the game, and then Indy slowly started climbing out of the hole. As soon as they got it under ten, you knew OKC needed to tighten up, but they didn't. More games, more fun for all of us! Cheers!
Stuart D Posted June 12, 2025 Author Posted June 12, 2025 Gee this is a fun game 3. I’m enjoying watching the SGA/Nembhard matchup. McConnell’s playing well too.
Parsad Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Both teams are young, so this may be a long-term rivalry! Cheers!

Hadn’t really followed what was going on with this group closely. Quite the sports portfolio for TWG/Guggenheim. https://www.twgglobal.com/sports-media-and-entertainment/ And Jeanie Buss goes from being (supposedly) the cash poorest NBA owner to getting a $10B payday. And almost certainly, Magic Johnson is going to have some advisory role again with them. I'm sure LeBron is quite happy! Cheers!
Parsad Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Congratulations to OKC winning the NBA Finals! SGA has catapulted himself into the discussion of Greatest Canadian NBA Player Ever and possibly one of the greatest NBA Players Ever...all at 26 years old! And he makes it look awfully easy...kind of like Dwayne Wade used to. Smooth, smart and incredibly lethal with few turnovers! https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nba/nba-champion-shai-gilgeous-alexander-now-canada-s-greatest-basketball-player/ar-AA1Hgj1w?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=c7e408073a8a4263a52889e529fee889&ei=29 Amazing what Canada's basketball program is doing in the last decade. Wish Indiana star Halliburton a speedy recovery...sad and really bad luck to see him go down in Game 7...might have made the difference. But they will probably win one soon as well! Cheers!
Blake Hampton Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Wow. Oklahoma finally holds the number-one spot in something unrelated to domestic violence.
dwy000 Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 7 different champions over the past 7 years. Love him or hate him but Silver has made this one of the most watchable leagues in professional sports.

whiskybravo Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Really great finals. First seven gamer since Cleveland’s thrilling comeback against Golden State.
