LC Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I like Mark Cuban: not that I think he is brilliant, or that I agree with what he says, but I appreciate his conviction in his perspective and his outsider-looking-in sense of honesty and candor: http://blogmaverick.com/2013/01/10/the-stock-market-2/

A mini version of the accidental billionaire...Paul Allen. Although, it may just be the fact that I didn't like him giving up on Nash years ago. Cheers!
eclecticvalue Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 He did work very hard to get to where he is today. I think he has a cynical/ not caring attitude towards the stock market because he is a billionaire and doesn't need to invest in the stock market.

A mini version of the accidental billionaire... Quoted for emphasis. I give Mark props for being successful but he is a turkey..... sometimes he just comes off ignorant.
Guest deepValue Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Cuban probably hasn't followed too many 'real' businesses (read: established and profitable). His view is understandable given his focus on tech stocks, which tend to be speculative.
siddharth18 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 ...accidental billionaire...Paul Allen. ... haha that's a nice way to put it.
