Another great "Walter" has died today. I remember him helping me sniff around DOW CHEMICAL some years back. Although waiting until $8.00 pps was the best course of action which I applied during the wake of the crisis, compared to the high teens when I recall him writing about, I will not forget the prudence learned from reading the thinking processes behind this revered VALUE INVESTOR!  :(

Sadly, another of the "Buffett Group" (formerly "Graham Group"), Ed Anderson of Tweedy Browne, passed away on Feb 9.  Sorry for the duplication is this was already posted.

Unless I missed it, which is entirely possible in my sleep deprived, newborn baby girl state, I saw no mention in the WSJ of Walter's passing.

I read it most mornings online and didn't even see anything on the WSJ home page.
