Myth465 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 He would get my vote. Cant argue with any points in his plan.
given2invest Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I agree on all points. Shame it will never happen.
ubuy2wron Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Ditto to the above zero on ideology 100% on practicality not so sure on the retirement age to 70 if I was 63 I think I would be voting against it.

The simple fact that he realizes that there is a difference between coal miners and office workers speaks volumes. I havent seen common sense like that out of Washington in a long time.
Guest Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Not that it matters much relating to his plan, but does anyone know his funds long term returns?
dcollon Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 The last I saw was that he has compounded capital at roughly 16% since starting his fund in 1991. I don't have the breakdown of yearly results though.
gaf63 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Great common sense ideas that should be implemented! I would add for pt.10: Change presidential term to 6 yrs. so a president could implement his/her ideas w/o wasting 25% of time in office on reelection.
Packer16 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 4 years is good because the only things folks want over a long period of time will get done. This is the way the system is designed. Packer
