I heard about this book today by listening to the Acquired Podcast about LVMH, dated 21st February 2023. The book is a far as I understand from 1993. So it is old as Methuselah, long time ago sold out and gone out of stock everywhere, and today very rare and almost impossible to lay hands on.

I found a copy on Ebay today with an ask of USD 11,499, or best offer. 🫣

I found the book digitalized on archive.org on this page, where it is possible to read the book and also download a digital copy, if you may want so.

The content of the book is almost self explanatory from the title of the book: It is about the early years of Bernard Arnualt business life, and therefore also about the history of those companies, that up that was the core and central components as the basis for the formation of LVMH, which is an awesome story.

  • John Hjorth changed the title to The Taste of Luxury: Bernard Arnault and the Moët-Hennessy Louis Vuitton Story - Nadege Forestier and Nazanine Ravai
