Along those lines, here's a related thought by Seth Godin. "If money is an emotional issue for you, you’ve just put your finger on a big part of the problem. No one who is good at building houses has an emotional problem with hammers. Place your emotional problems where they belong, and focus on seeing money as a tool." I just watched Ted Lasso and there was a scene where they were talking with Roy about a relationship problem. He said he was unable to control his emotions and one of the guys said, “no problem, just let your emotions control you.” This was obviously the opposite of the solution. Good show.
