Does anyone know of public (free) tools to get a quick glance at the equity prices globally? Pretty much as a way to zone-in on countries where good prices might exist for stable businesses. TIA!

Gurufocus does implied future returns for about 20 global indices:

And, Aswath Damodaran blogged on this subject in July 2013 (http://aswathdamodaran.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/market-multiples-global-comparison-and.html).

I'm not sure if he would do it every year, but he already updates other data annually  (http://aswathdamodaran.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/numbers-time-data-update-for-2014.html) if that's anything to go by.

I guess it's possible that his global valuation maps will also get re-rated sometime during 2014.
