  1. Oh and trusting people who report to Trump and are devoted to Trump (looking at you Pam!) To accurately scrutinize and investigate information that could implicate Trump is just naive.
  2. Oh I will be.the first to admit TDS or whatever you want to call it. Thinking Trump.is the most incompetent, unqualified, unintelligent, immoral and dishonest person ever to hold elected office is a source of pride to me. And this is from a former Republican. But unlike cultists it doesnt stop me from thinking independently and being able to separate the person from the issue. Pedophilia is an issue that shouldnt divide people though.
  3. She's the one sitting on the files and wont release them without Trumps approval.
  4. You mean Pam Bondi????? Ha ha ha ha ha. That was funny. Thats the problem. They aren't making the case to release the files. They are doing everything in their power not to. Despite promising it. This is now in the hands of Congress. We will see how many of them vote to keep the files secret vs release them. Its a completely bipartisan issue with over 80% of voters from both sides supporting release.
  5. How do you prove it? By releasing the files. Protecting pedophiles because someone's name might be in an unrelated email is just plain wrong. If youre innocent of wrongdoing you have no reason to fear the release. In fact you should want it to protect your name.
  6. And you seem to want to protect pedophiles to save your lord and master. So if we are on opposite sides here I'm good with that.
  7. Absolutely. Which is more reason to be supporting their release to prove innocence for those people and nail the guilty ones.
  8. And yet youre the one wanting to do a search going back for years to see if and what I commented on. Like my posting on an investment board is the gating factor in their release. Its even more important now because the pedophile called Trump his best friend and Trump has shown his willingness to do almost anything to stop their release. A president backed into a corner and willing to do anything to save himself is not good for the country.
  9. This isnt just Trump. How is wanting to expose and prosecute pedophiles controversial? Of either party at any time. Making excuses as to why the files should not be released and examined because.they are likely to implicate your lord and master is cult-like behavior. This should not be controversial. Release the files and prosecute those involved.
  10. Hey go for it. If it was a topic I followed and participated in at the time. But its interesting that you will devote that much time and effort to trying to find some gotcha post on me on a topic that any decent person should agree on. Release the files, prosecute the offenders including those who helped hide or obstruct. Of any party at any time. I'm shocked this is controversial.
  11. Hidding information about a convicted pedophile. You're in a cult.
  12. Sure! If it was a topic on here 6 years ago that I followed and participated in.
  13. I have supported going whole hog against anything Epstein related from day one. What changed (not for me but for public attention) is that Epsteins best friend became President and Trump campaigned on the promise to release the files. This is an issue where "whataboutism" isnt relevant. We should be doing everything possible to release the files and publish the guilty including those who hid and obstructed from both parties at any time. Let's get the proof in the public and then we can go crazy laying blame and charges
  14. I dont give a crap what party. Release the files in full and prosecute all the guilty parties (including those who obstructed their release). As someone with a daughter pedophiles are the biggest scum on the planet and this shouldnt be political.
  15. The motives are pretty obvious. Far more entertaining for me is the motives of the people trying to keep them from being released. Means they are bad. And makes you wonder how many things have been done behind the scenes to keep them from being released that as of now nobody knew about.
  16. You're literally posting on it how youre above it all and ignore the noise....from Disney!
  17. For the guy who says to ignore it and doesnt let it impact him you post more about it than anyone here. You seem quite obsessed by it all.
  18. NYC has and will always have billionaires and millionaires. Money will move out, money will come in. Anything Mamdami does will move things around the edges. And then he will go and things will move again. Cycle of life.
  19. It was as Spek pointed out - an FU vote to the establishment with zero real alternatives. And also if youre making less than $300k the city is very expensive and someone saying they will help reduce costs by taxing millionaires is an appealing message for them.
  20. I did not say that. You're twisting my words. The share of the country has gone down because the rest of the country has grown including many other cities. As a healthy country does. And the immigrants that I know and see in NYC are generally the ones running hedge funds, tech companies and working at banks. The.city has continued to grow and prosper.
  21. So??? My point was that young people move to new york for the opportunities and old people move out when theyve achieved them. Whats that got to do with a population decline 50 years ago and the proportion of people foreign born?
  22. What does that have to do with my post? 55 years ago a bunch of people left (when the city was bordering on bankruptcy). Yes, mayors matter. And the city shows remarkable resilience and ability to keep coming back stronger than ever whatever gets thrown at it.
  23. Thats been NYC for generations. Young people move there because its a hub of the most aggressive, ambitious people around. They either fail or flatline and leave. Or they make their fortune and leave in their 50's. Thats been the process forever. Its the same for say, Boca Raton. People move there in their 50's or 60's (maybe from NYC!). They age out and die, to be replaced by new 50 and 60 year olds. Its the great cycle of life. Doesn't make either place a shithole. Different strokes for different folks. And the best part is that nobody has to live there if they dont want to.
  24. Plus limited space. Most of NYC is on 3 islands and commute time comes into play. Its also why rents are so high because you cant just build your way into supply meeting demand.
  25. You can hate on it all you want and granted, NYC is not everyone's cup of tea, but this idea that its dying is just plain wrong. Population is up, rents are astronomical as so many people want to live there and it doesnt rank anywhere near the most dangerous cities in the country. The city continues to be where young people, creative people and ambitious people want to be. Its why its the cultural center, the restaurant center, the museum center for the country. T The older you get and the wealthier you get the less the rat race appeals and people move away. Thats been NYC for generations. Mamdami is going to be a disaster (probably) and then will get voted out. But NYC will still be around and everyone across the country will still argue about how great or terrible it is. I'm fascinated by this need to hate on people and things you dont like. Life's too short. Go for a walk.
