Tbh what I do with Python now, could be do with excel, but since I started delve on Python, I want to pratice with it. Moreover I fell in love with data analysis and ML, thus I want to implement some advanced features in my DCF analysis for the sake of curiosity. -

You are right! I hadn't noticed this serious mistake. Thank you very much , I corrected it. Im sorry but sometimes even when I reread the same thing 100x I don't see plain errors.

I concur, great tech, probabily a bubble right now as it was the dotcom, my investment is 4% BTC, 0.5% ETH, 0.5%, Im willing to expand my holdings in the future as I learn more. Moreover I begun to learn Solidity language, it's interesting and challenging . “The computer science behind bitcoin is a great triumph of the human mind. They created a product that’s hard to create more of but not impossible. [But] I see an artificial speculative medium." Charlie Munger, 2018 I initially tought Munger's critical perspective on crypto was the result of ignorance, but I was wrong (glad to be wrong). Indeed this quote demonstrates an incredible understanding of the matter for a 97 yr old man.

Yes, great book. I have already read it. Very insightful, Im planning to read it once a year, given my bad memory :D.

Tbh I doubt it's a everything bubble, BRK is an emblematic case where Warren throught increasing share repurchases is communicating the under-fair value of its shares. Only my humble opinion.

I will do an in-depth on this topic in next articles, thanks for the ideas.

Great suggestion, I will do it. Even if I found little material on this matter untill now.

Hi, thanks for your comment. My goal with this article is to highlight the most important figures in the Cash Flow Statement and extrapolate useful metrics and values as an introduction of the calculation of the FV. I wrote 17 articles where I tried to create the mental frame to approach the analysis of the main components of the three statements. The blog is readable as a book and it was meant to be a percourse not a single step, I also pointed out which type of business I want to buy&hold for the long term (focused on my circle of competence, this blog is a mental map for my investing journey). In the next article I will introduce the extrapolation of the future figures analyzing past qualitative/quantitative performance and forecast the future based to the presence of a competitive advantage that protect/enhance the model that generated the past performance. That said, thank you for the prospective I will think about it and if necessary I will make some change. I prefer to be judged by the readers rather than by the market and consequently lose money because of a cognitive errors.

Hello investors, I published the latest article on the Value Investing blog 17. Cash Flow Statement Analysis https://dscompounding.wordpress.com/2021/12/08/17-cash-flow-statement/ Accounting isn't easy to digest, I'm trying to convey the essential parts directly related to investing in great companies for the long term, in order to fight the decrease in purchasing power caused by the rampant inflation. This world is full of noise, everyone wants to carve out a new noise frequency. In investing there are few things to know, but these few things must be communicated in a simple and concise way. This is what I'm trying to do. "Collecting the dots. Then connecting them. And then sharing the connections with those around you. This is how a creative human works. Collecting, connecting, sharing." A. Palmer I just completed the series on Financial Statements Here the link to the blog articles: 17. Cash Flow Statement Analysis https://dscompounding.wordpress.com/2021/12/08/17-cash-flow-statement/ 16. Balance Sheet Analysis https://dscompounding.wordpress.com/2021/09/08/16-balance-sheet-analysis/ 15. Income Statement Analysis https://dscompounding.wordpress.com/2021/06/04/15-income-statement-analysis/ All the best, Dave Post Scriptum: The blog is meant for novices, my prospective on what I learned until now. It's not the Holy Bible but rather my attempt to help who start the journey.

This is a great overview on web3 https://preethikasireddy.com/post/the-architecture-of-a-web-3-0-application

Imo there is a basic trend, we are at the embryonic stage and probabily the cryptoeconomy is in a bubble right now. Whatever event that happens doesn't affect the technology nor it will break this trend. The concept of self-sovereignity is intact and it will be the engine of change.

I can see where you coming from, I noticed this current "rigidity" of the models that doesnt fit well with a complex adaptive system. Anyway this field is at the beginning of its journey, surely there will be a lot of surprises.

I have been self-learning ML and deep learning for many months, Im at the beginning of the journey but it's a really fascinating field. My futuristic stand point is that we are going to automatize every boring process of our life freeing space for our creativity, the real superpower of human beings. Decision making, as suggested by Kahneman, will be left to the machine and in my opinion there will be some sort of connection with a global and immutable blockchain turing complete. I wonder how AI will change the investing environment.

It looks like a checkmate situation.

"You will be invited at almost every turn to believe that the coming Information Societies will be very like the industrial society you grew up in. We doubt it. Microprocessing will dissolve the mortar in the bricks. It will so profoundly alter the logic of violence that it will inevitably change the way people organize their livelihoods and defend themselves. Yet the tendency will be to downplay the inevitability of these changes, or to argue about their desirability as if it were within the fiat of industrial institutions to determine how history evolves." James Dale Davidson, 1997, The Sovereign Individual: Mastering the Transition to the Information Age

Your statements have sense but your question was asked differently.

Some BTC features and tech characteristics: digital scarcity/portability/divisibility, programmed deflationary trajectory, immutability, blockchain rails, network effect, mindshare, attraction of brains incentivated and motivated to improve the network. Ethereum is a Turing complete machine. I see nothing in common with this stock certificates.

In my opinion the "contagion" was the only way to bring the idea of a decentralized currency to the light. An elegant code exploits the opportunistic nature of humans in order to emerge (incentives), it's simple brilliant. If whoever will become rich corresponds to whoever will be able to build an optimized network around this technology, the capital transfer makes sense, otherwise probabily it is a Ponzi Scheme.

I shared that to highlight the notion of "store of value" expressed in your post, notion clearly defined from the beginning by Satoshi. I was not referring to the hyperledger.

“In this sense, it’s more typical of a precious metal. Instead of the supply changing to keep the value the same, the supply is predetermined and the value changes. As the number of users grows, the value per coin increases. It has the potential for a positive feedback loop; as users increase, the value goes up, which could attract more users to take advantage of the increasing value” Satoshi Nakamoto 2009-02-18
