  1. Added to BRSL after what I think are strong earnings.
  2. @dwy000 - I believe for everyone - Some goods will not be subject to the Reciprocal Tariff. These include: (1) articles subject to 50 USC 1702(b); (2) steel/aluminum articles and autos/auto parts already subject to Section 232 tariffs; (3) copper, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and lumber articles; (4) all articles that may become subject to future Section 232 tariffs; (5) bullion; and (6) energy and other certain minerals that are not available in the United States. 3. I think it's been 10 minutes. Pharma, lumber, copper, gold, and some other categories are exempt for an initial period.
  4. @schin, there is decent coverage of his top lieutenants. Vastly different managers (risk appetite, background, etc), all vying to be the heir to Masayoshi Son. Unfortunately I don't recall the book going into any detail on the hedge fund at all. @Xerxes, thank you! I've added it to my list.
  5. The book does not cover Coupang. It does cover Alibaba in detail and WeWork to a lesser extent. In addition to his boldness, this book shows Masayoshi Son as incredibly charismatic. He has a long history of transactional relationships and negative outcomes for his counterparties, butt he never seemed to struggle with finding new partners to believe in his vision and provide funding.
  6. I'd recommend the recent biography - Gambling Man: The Secret Story of the World's Greatest Disruptor, Masayoshi Son. Interesting read on his early-90's rise and up through his recent fundraising for AI. Quite a ride.
  7. Transact Technologies (TACT). Being correctly punished for being in casinos and in food service.
  8. Sharps Compliance (SMED) - Up quite bit already, but would benefit from testing and vaccine waste needs.
  9. Regarding multiple Microsoft products, Skype for Business is reaching end of life July 2021 and being replaced by Teams. If that happens, I think it further limits Slack as Teams becomes the default choice for larger companies.
  10. You should be fine - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Canada.html I had to look this up as I'm going through Canada to Europe next week.
  11. The article was posted on ZeroHedge if you're still interested - https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-04-25/quiet-panic-kyle-bass-hong-kongs-looming-financial-political-crisis
  12. Purchased TACT. I like the odds on their restaurant business and today's departure of a board member (possibly in response to activist letter on 12/18).
  13. Bought some TACT. Maybe earnings tomorrow provide some visibility into their restaurant division, although it's been a lot of nothing for years now.
  14. It does seem rather concentrated, but this also seems to be their very high conviction idea (7x). I'm not in it, but it's interesting - https://www.kerrisdalecap.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Intelsat-and-SES.pdf
  15. Wide ranging interview I enjoyed with Tony Deden -
