Firearms have come a LONG way since the Right to Bear Arms was added to the Constitution. I mean, at the time, they had muskets and flint locks. Did machining even exist as a process then? Did a machine lath even exist?

I really like monochrome laser printers for home. I like printers that support postscript. We stopped buying HP's and started to buy Lexmarks a couple years back at work. We bought 120+ Lexmark e260dn's 6 months ago and they have been really great. Toner's tend to be more expensive than HP but the Photoconduction kits(or maintenance kits) are 1/8th the price of HP's. The e260dn is a network printer. It doesn't support wireless. dn mean duplex+network. If you don't need to wire the printer on the network, then you can also get a e260d which is slightly cheaper. We also buy x364dn's where we need a multifunction device.

Elon Musk, the 21st Century Industrialist

I'm really not too crazy about shipping at any price. The fuel that powers the ships is what is left over after the refining process. It's nasty stuff and creates a lot of pollution. I also can't imagine the amount of paper/toner each that each FFH sub uses to print their policies. It must be huge. Lots of dead trees.

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/story/2012-03-25/visa-data-center/53774904/1 "The 8-acre facility looks like any other industrial park in a sleepy suburb. But the serene setting masks hundreds of cameras and a crack team of former military personnel. Hydraulic bollards beneath the road leading to the OCE can be quickly raised to stop an intruding car going 50 mph. Any speed faster, and the car can't navigate a hairpin turn, sending it into a drainage pond that functions as a modern-day moat."

Got a call at 20:45 from FBK asking me if I'm going to tender my shares to mercer. I told them that i'm going to wait but I would not be submitting them to Resolute. I hold less than 20K in shares. -

I have an appletv2 with the latest firmware on it. It's solid and have not had any wifi or freezing issues. In fact it's jailbroken with http://www.firecore.com Before getting the appletv I upgraded my home wifi router. My house is 1600 sqft 2 story. I had an Asus 802.11G router (with dd-wrt firmware) that was starting to flake out. My router is in the basement and with the Asus I had poor service on the 2nd floor. Upgraded to a Netgear WNDR3700. I couldn't justify spending $100 for an airport. The netgear is a dual band router (operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). I now get wireless all over my house. I'm guessing that the surfboard modem is provided by your particular internet provider. It might be worth while getting another router and connecting it to the surfboard and using that instead. Are you using cordless phones? Those can interfere since they operate on the same frequencies as wireless.

GO Prem GO! I wonder what his unfiltered thoughts are of the company before joining the board, 1 year after he joins the board and 2 years after that. I guess I'll never know. -

The Big Dig: Fed Data Shows Households Attack Mountain of Debt
KFRCanuk replied to Parsad's topic in General Discussion
I think things are going to get pretty brutal when interest rates rise and people can no longer take equity out of their home because they are either underwater or maxed out already at 80%(In Canada).
