Really???? Obama served 8 years - zero attempts Biden served 4 years - zero attempts Clinton served 8 years - zero attempts Who are you kidding..
-
Now THAT is a deranged opinion. Political violence is perfectly ok.
-
That's very interesting. I've never heard of anyone saying they want Obama dead. He was just a failure, that's all, but dead - never.
-
Washington Hilton, I believe. Now Trump will get his Whitehouse ballroom, no problem.

I would definitely agree that education in America is awful. There are some bright spots but it's nothing like the 70's. It is not at all a money issue, as the teacher's union only cares about themselves and not the children. It's awful. The US will save huge amounts of money when we exit the UN and NATO - and finish off Iran!

The gap has forced the government to rely increasingly on domestic borrowing. Central bank data show that by November 2025, government debt to the banking system had risen 41 percent from a year earlier, while its debt to the central bank surged 68 percent. Commercial banks’ own borrowing from the central bank rose 63 percent over the same period. In effect, the state has compensated for lost oil income by drawing on the banking system and expanding the money supply. Liquidity—a key driver of inflation and currency depreciation—rose more than 40 percent in November 2025 compared with a year earlier. The consequences are visible in the exchange rate. The rial has depreciated roughly 75 percent since February last year. Taken together, declining oil revenues, restricted access to export proceeds, record capital flight and rapid monetary expansion are reinforcing one another. The prolonged state of geopolitical limbo appears to be amplifying those pressures, encouraging businesses and elites alike to move assets abroad and leaving the economy increasingly exposed to further instability. https://www.iranintl.com/en/202602189530

Why is the economy in freefall, currency collapsing and inflation exploding? Would you lend them money?
-
No doubt. New pipelines will be built while Iran is forced to rebuild. The Gulf States learned their lesson, and found out Iran is a paper tiger terrorist state only.
-
Iran is on the verge of collapse. No oil exports, no money....No hurry for the USA. So obvious.

Kid - he may have flunked math, but he's still a serious upgrade from the last guy who couldn't talk!

On second thought, I do not at all, mean to diminish your life experiences or upbringing - which is a real credit to how far you have come considering your circumstances. It's good to have you on this board. And I'm confident you will not forget your roots. That said - I still won't read that leftist rag The Economist!
-
Good enough John. Maybe we can agree that it's a good thing that Iran not have nuclear weapons. Let's hope it stays that way and this all ends fairly soon. It's not helpful for his mid-terms coming up, but it's a good thing for the world, including Europe. Careful with that Malinois, it will be like having Trump on a lease!
-
Ok John. I read your NYT article. Seems ok, I don't see any big surprises. What point are you trying get across to us ??
-
You look down on the working man that made this country great. You simply believe you are smarter than they are because of your education. I call that a snob. You are long on education and intellect, but vastly short on wisdom. Like I said, you get a break because you are young.
-
I haven't read your NYT article - nor did I comment on it...
-
Spoken like an arrogant global elitist - "I'm smarter than Main Street, and they should be anywhere near political power". You're perfect for Davos, you must have overdosed on Obama and his Ivy League pukes. I'll give you a break since you're young...
-
Wrong - basically the WSJ is the paper of the global elitist that could give a shit about Main Street Americans. It cheers the offshoring of jobs and the party of Davos. There has never been anything in the Journal that interests the average American. Mainstreet Americans care about their jobs, their family safety, their children's schools and whether college is a good deal. The Journal could care less.
-
It's called the Wall Street Journal, not the Main Street Journal for a reason: it in no way represents the thinking of the Main Street American. But more along the lines of the elitist lunatic fringe that @73 Reds describes in his post above.

Are you saying I am factual wrong? Is the POTUS violating the constitution? Was the funding of Iranian terrorism by Obama/Biden a good thing?
-
Understand your system and many others are totally different. POTUS has teams of advisors and departments to assist him. He does not and should not let other "experts" make his decisions. He is voted in to use HIS judgement & courage to make decisions. Otherwise, you get stuck with wishy washy political animals like Biden & Obama that make disasterous decisions. You can take Obama's entire Ivy League clown car of Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Jake Sullivan, etc and throw them in the trash. They overdosed on the Kennedy Foreign Affairs School and came up with ridiculous theories like funding Iran and balancing the Shia against the Sunnis through "creative tension" - with their idiotic Shia Crescent against the Saudis... What was the result? Creating the Iranian monster that we see today, that Trump has to undue today. Such stupidity, such cowardice to act.

Yeah, really no idea why he left... Kash is doing an amazing job with crime and fraud. I've never seen anything like the fraud he is uncovering. If he leaves, I'll be very surprised. But you know the MSM - Pete has to go, JD has to go, Kash has to go, Trump has to go..... Same old broken record from the losers...
-
A 40% drop in violent crime in 1 year? You must be nuts.... Or just unwilling to acknowledge the very successful coalition between a Democratic mayor and Trump would lead to such a spectacular result.
-
