  1. ^^^ You got to pray for the Europeans to save their individual cultures from Brussels. Seeing what happened in the USA with gov/social media collusion the last few years was very revealing. I never thought that could happen here.
  2. We ought just take their rights away or put them in camps. They don't really contribute anything anyway.
  3. ^^^^ I see - so there was no inflation , and it did not impact the poor. Got it.
  4. That's just dumb. 45% of Hispanics and 20% of Blacks elected that man, since their own party has ignored them for years. Biden/Harris unleashed disastrous inflation upon "the poor". And their own party called it "inflation protection act" - denying the devastating economic results. The "poor" that are so dumb - just kicked out the party of "let them eat cake".
  5. @Onefoothurdles that's a great message , and you should post more.
  6. @backtothebeach Point taken. But Erdogan and Turkey have plenty of room for Sunnis after the very successful ethinic cleansing of Christians, Kurds and Armenians. Nobody does it better than Erdogan.
  7. I wish you all the best in Europe with you assimilation issues. You've taken on an enormous burden, so I hope you all can keep your way of life and avoid social unrest. My in-laws in France (wife's family) are very unhappy about how it is all going. Sweden's crime rates look awful. The UK looks precarious. From the outsider looking in - Germany looks bad. I've no clue about Denmark or the rest. For the USA - France & the UK look like a preview of what is coming here. Fortunately, our new President will make every effort to reverse it and stop the destruction of the country. Mexico and others must serve their citizens, as they have failed them: without the US escape valve, those governments would be in danger of falling. Twenty some years ago, at a Wesco Meeting in Pasadena, Charlie Munger was asked what he feared most in the USA in regards to what might put our society in trouble. I was taken aback when he said "social unrest" - and I thought that was a strange comment, as that was never going to happen here. It happened in the 1960's when I was a kid - and I remember that period well. But we were well beyond that period - and so it couldn't happen again. Little did I know how insightful Munger really was, until the last few years.
  8. Importantly - these decisions are made by leaders that shield themselves from the consequences of their bad decisions. Those leaders live in gated communities, don't use the overwhelmed schools or public healthcare services, and have armed protection. Those leaders are not going to live in or near the public housing complexes where the refugees are dumped - nor are they going to send their children to the same schools. You just see this play out over and over.
  9. @John Hjorth Happy New Year John! My point is not understanding the ingratitude of immigrant guests. When Europe extends genorosity to immigrants - that behavior is returned with social unrest. The identical situation is happening here in the USA, to a smaller degree. Yet - the Middle East countries want nothing to do with the "refugee problem". They know it brings waves of social unrest when it is out of control. Now the Europeans are finding that out.
  10. Yeah, the thing is - their is no war in Turkey, Jordan, Egypt and many of their neighbors. So the logical question is - why do their Muslim brothers not extend asylum to their brothers?
  11. I can't say for sure about Germany, but I suspect he's right. It's certainly the case in France & England that radical Islam is destroying the country and increasing the violence.
  12. +1 - Yup, most are well meaning and true believers in the discipline. It's important to have heroes and role models.
  13. ^^^ I thought 20% was high myself. Given the problem that radical Islam is causing Germany, as in France - the point was the USA needs to keep this under control. WIESBADEN – 14.2 million people lived in Germany in 2021 who themselves had immigrated since 1950, according to microcensus results. Immigrants thus accounted for 17.3% of the population https://www.destatis.de/EN/Press/2023/03/PE23_080_12.html
  14. Whatever is happening in Germany, the USA needs to avoid. https://amgreatness.com/2025/01/02/germanys-new-morgenthau-plan/ Such an economic powerhouse, but it's miscalculations should serve as a warning to the USA.
  15. The Democratic party is totally lost. They are losing their base, which is all self inflicted. They can't admit they've done anything wrong - like totally alienating the country. Even the liberals are breathing a sigh of relief - the loon wing of the party are out of power - now we can get back to some normalcy.
  16. Now that is funny.
  17. Damn - you left out the best part! Biden took documents 30 years ago and kept them. They were laying next to his Corvette in a garage. He was never authorized to take those documents as a senator. Then he shares the confidential documents with his biographer Mark Zwonitzer - confidential documents! Zwonitzer then destroys all documents/interviews related to the materials as soon as he learns of the documents investigation against Biden. Meanwhile, Trump has them for 2 years - secure in Mar Lago - and there is a dispute over when to turn them over, etc. So an FBI Swat team with 30 armed agents show up. Typical Kangaroo Court stuff. Trump was authorized. Then Biden figures out he's gonna get busted - so he turns in all the 30 year old restricted documents. You can't make this stuff up!
  18. It's good to see the H1-B issue up for robust debate, even among the MAGA crowd. That's the way it should be. Thank the open Town Square of X.
  19. Elon is definitely "censoring" Twitter - if you intend to defame someone or get too pornographic. As Free Speech should be. Otherwise - it's definitely the Town Square of opinions.
  20. ^^^ Sounds like a catfight
  21. @flesh That is a very refreshing story and outlook. Good for you!
  22. Yeah, right. He spent $40B to save free speech in America. Left/Right/Center - say what you like on X - as it used to be, before Zuckerberg, Google, Old Media and the LEFT decided they could censor opinions they did not agree with. The Commies have been forever exposed for hiding the truth from Americans. Now that is a patriot - Elon has changed American media forever. Even Zuckerberg is kissing the ring. It's something to see!
  23. Yup - Elon has truly revolutionized Social Media and New Media. Traditional media is dead. Thank goodness.
  24. The real problem in Mexico is that it is a failed state run by narco-cartels. Without the USA to send hard currency back to Mexico the government would likely fall.
