I was doing some research and my dots pointed towards SKS of India, but there are still a few holes in my story. If you'd like to exchange notes PM me since this was the SHOS thread. Thx

Thx Through the power of 'google'....... first article that popped up http://www.moneyweb.co.za/moneyweb-financial/sas-newest-bank-pays-10-on-deposits The article pretty much points to what Khrom was saying in his newsletter: - The licence was eventually granted in May 2012 - first banking licence awarded to a South African company in more than a decade. - Finbond offers smaller, shorter-term loans than most of its larger competitors. For example, the average Finbond loan is around R2 500 with a term of two and a half months. Then I pulled up trusty CapitalIQ and insider ownership is at 46%
roughlyright Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Does anyone know how a individual investor can buy shares of Finbond? It is only listed on Johannesburg stock exchange. I have an account with Interactive broker account but they do not let you buy any stocks in South Africa.
constructive Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 https://www.fidelity.com/stock-trading/faqs-international Fidelity seems to be one of the few US brokers with access to the JSE.
