Total returns of Ford from 1925

I have a friend tell me he had 50 stocks certificates of Ford motor company from something like 1925 and he was wondering how much it is worth today. Most historical data I could find stopped 1978, where can I go to find out the total return?

I found a site after a Google search for Ford stock certificate that shows one from the Ford Motor Company of Canada from 1908 that sold at auction.

Of course I can't speak to the reliability of the site, but I did find it kind of cool.

Ford had bought out his investors by 1925.  The last to sell made 250 times their original investment.  :)
