racemize Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 This is phenomenal. Every time I read Marks, I am impressed.
link01 Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 This is phenomenal. Every time I read Marks, I am impressed. ditto. wish he ran a non institutional mutual fund. he's a superbly rational investor.
racemize Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 I've read "The Most Important Thing" and several of his letters--is there any more material to read from him? It appears that he has a huge archive here: http://www.oaktreecapital.com/memo.aspx So I'll probably just start going through those.
eclecticvalue Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Instead of downloading them individually you can download the whole set here. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/75532225/Howard-Marks-Memos-1990-2010

Can anyone host it anywhere else? (depositfiles.com or dropbox or whatever)?

I've tried a few sites and they all say removed due to copyright infringement. I'm guessing it's for his clients eyes only.

I may download and combine them myself and host it on dropbox--if so, I'll post it.
eclecticvalue Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 I have the file so if anyone can tell me where I can host it easily(except scribd). I'll post it since I was the one who made it.

racemize Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Hi All, similar to Leucadia, I wanted all the letters in one pdf. Here's one with yearly bookmarks, better formatted dates, and all current letters: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14968/Oaktree%20%282012%29.pdf
