These guys need LVLT as their CDN partner because it said, "According to the broadcast, this video document can be seen in Canada only."

What is up with that?  Why can't www.tou.tv stream to the US?

A large number of media sites and television network sites block content outside of their own country. This is nothing new.  If you visit Canada sometime you will find that you can't watch a television show on cbs.com, hulu.com or http://www.thedailyshow.com  They are all blocked. The broadcast rights are sold separately for different countries.

For the same reason that Netflix Canada has a different (much more limited) selection of movies for streaming when compared to Netflix US.

I had seen the original version a while ago, but I just re-watched it again. Good documentary, though there's not much in it that isn't in the biographies. But it's always nice to see Warren and Charlie!

beerbaron, I don't think it's a proxy problem.  Nodnub might be right; it's content availability in different countries...

beerbaron is referring to using a proxy server based in another country to allow you to circumvent geographic content restriction.
