vn35
Hi, To buy and sell directly on Stockholm or other European exchanges, what are some brokerages that have good execution and commissions ? I know that Charles Schwab offers it, but the commission is not that low. Thanks. Jimmy
gfp
I use interactive brokers. They are great, just be sure to do a currency transaction also or IB will charge you interest on a currency loan. With IB, you have to subscribe to the market data from the exchange you wish to trade on. It's a different price for each exchange.

watsa_is_a_randian_hero
I use IB as well. They are the best option for a retail or semi-professional investor/trader. Best mix of service quality, product breadth, and price.
beerbaron
In Canada we have the equivalent of deposit insurance for brokers. IB is not part of this deposit insurance, doesn't that make some people cautious? BeerBaron

RichardGibbons
In Canada we have the equivalent of deposit insurance for brokers. IB is not part of this deposit insurance. According to this link, IB is covered: http://www.cipf.ca/Public/MemberDirectory/CurrentMembers.aspx Richard
