SmallCap Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 there are many sites that do their best to track the holdings of BRK and then there is the list of major holdings that comes from his annual reports but is anyone aware of a good place to find the list of holdings for FFH? SmallCap
WideMoat Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Here's the thread on this board that discusses the most recent 13F. http://cornerofberkshireandfairfax.ca/forum/index.php?topic=1019.0

SmallCap Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Thanks guys that was exactly what I wanted to know.
DCG Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I still don't know what Prem sees in companies like Dell, Office Depot, Zenith & Level 3. -I don't like Dell at all as a company, but it is cheap selling for just over 2x it's cash.
bargainman Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://holdings.nasdaq.com/asp/OwnerPortfolio.asp?FormType=OwnerPortfolio&CIK=0000915191&HolderName=FAIRFAX+FINANCIAL+HOLDINGS+LTD/+CAN Is there an easy way to get this for any company? I was thinking I could potentially seek out the CIK and the name, but was wondering if there was a way to just go from ticker symbol to this holdings screen? Thanks.
Grenville Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://www.nasdaq.com/reference/ownership.stm Make sure you fill out the bottom search box which describes institutional holders and not stock symbol if you want to get directed to the holdings as formated in the earlier posted link. You can thank Partner24! I had the same question a while back.

I knew they held Dell but I hadnt noticed the size of the position since the latest addition - its almost largest equity holding.
