  1. Amazing. This should be something that every decent human being agrees on and not political at all. Raping children is bad. Everyone involved should be prosecuted. Surely this should be one thing where everybody with conscious and go "yup, we are all in agreement that the files should be released and everyone involved punished." And then move on. The fact that you spend more time trying to pick little holes in my statements and making it political says a lot about character and cults.
  2. Is this a reading comprehension issues? That is NOT what I said. It was an issue for me but not one that was being actively discussed on this board.
  3. Because it wasnt an issue being discussed here before that!! I dont weigh in on dozens of things not being discussed here. It doesnt mean I dont have strong views. And again (for like the 50th time), why are you guys so focused on the whataboutism like it makes your current argument (or lack of) more legitimate? Its child rape and youre more focused on "getting" me and "owning the libs" than prosecuting the people involved. Its a cult.
  4. Have you even read the thread? My entire point has been that everyone involved.should be prosecuted. You guys are the ones who seem to be of the view that pedophilia is wrong unless its Trump then its a yawn and people ate overreacting. Im literally shocked that as human beings we.cant all agree that raping children is wrong and we should be prosecuting everyone involved in it or covering it up. At any time. From any party. How is this even controversial??? It is truly a deep cult.
  5. If u believe this you should be the one trumpeting for their release! I dont know how many times I need to repeat it but if people obstructed in the past - nail them! Charge them with obstruction and everything else! Why are you more obsessed with the wrongs of the past 10 years than with correcting those wrongs and punishing the perpetrators? Absolutely its about the kids! So forget the politics and and the whataboutism and fix it. Release everything and convict everyone involved.
  6. I have no idea why and to be honest, at this point it doesnt matter. If someone blocked it, charge them with obstruction! Because something was done wrong in the past is not reason to keep doing it. But id also turn it around and say why guess? Trump campaigned on releasing the files and if there's nothing bad in there for him then release everyrhing with minimal redactiins. why is he doing everything possible to stop the release? Especially when something like 70-80% of people from both parties are pushing for it. What exactly is in there thats driving this behavior (and has for years)?
  7. The fixation is on the desire to see justice done. The fact that it is one of the most dispicable acts a person can commit makes the fixation to right the wrong even stronger. Its not political. Its good vs evil. I would much, much rather this have nothing to do with the President because of its impact on our country and our respect globally. But he is in the files and trying hard to stop them from being released. That you are making this out to be political because it means your dear leader is at risk says more about you than anything.
  8. Wow. When you make raping children a polical issue and you take the other side. Just wow.
  9. Yet again, I cant control what happened for the past 10-20 years. I dont know who buried it, why or how. Prosecute the shit out of all them. But making that argument as a counter to supporting the full and unconditional release of everything today is putting wrong on top of wrong. For me the Epstein files are not political they are a matter of humanity vs animals. The fact that the current President is in them and is actively trying to prevent their release (including the Speaker and head of the DOJ) is just another reason it needs to all come out and let the chips fall where they may. The fact you seem to have more vitriol for the people pushing for the release than the people in the files is a character issue.
  10. Very, very wrong. I despise Trump, yes. But that is because he is a moron and incompetent and just a disgusting human being. And we can disagree about that and policies etc. But I would have hoped that as Americans (and human beings!) we could agree that raping children is a line that nobody should cross - and especially when it's the Presdient. But I guess not. I dont give a crap about the whataboutism and timing. Everybody connected to this including anyone who intentionally kept it buried should be prosecuted. So we should all agree that regardless of what happened before, the best way to deal with it is to release it all (again, as Trump promised!).
  11. My interest is that the President was best friends and connected with a convicted pedophile and is desperately trying to keep the information from being released. Its the same interest that the entire country (if not world) has (except apparently people in the cult who just want to move on). Knowing whether the President is a pedophile or not seems a pretty important point. Who exactly is thinking they've got a leg up of the DOJ (who by the way has been the key supporter in not releasing the info)? We are watching this unfold real time not sitting here doing investigative work. If it comes out that Trump was in fact involved and guilty would that hit your care hurdles? If so, thats exactly why everyone else cares about it - the impacts are significant. And the fact that the guy committed suicide and his girlfriend is locked up for 20 years (despite Trump moving her to minimum security) suggests that a lot of really, really bad shit was going on.
  12. Its content that Trump has done everything in his power to keep from being released. It would be shocking if peopel werent paying deep attention to it.What's disgusting is pretending this is a big nothing burger because you support the guy politically and it doesnt impact you personally.
  13. So because it doesnt affect you it shouldnt be done? And we shouldnt care about it? Its kids being raped.
  14. Its the President of the United States tied to a convicted pedophile. And lying about it. And desperately trying everything to keep the material from coming to light (after running on a platform that had releasing the files a key component). Its not a speeding ticket. If you support protecting pedophiles because well, it doesnt affect me, it says a lot about character.
  15. I think Chris Ward was actually the first. Incidentally he also wrote the song Black Velvet for Alanna Miles. Back when music television was actually about music.
  16. Sounds like the average dinner at Mar a Lago.
  17. Best analogy I've seen in a long time.
  18. Because it was his first prime time address to the nation. He pre empted shows, pre announced the speech and it was broadcast on most live networks. The expectation that he would announce something you know, important, was pretty high. Instead he complained and lied for 20 minutes. The fact that it was done 2 days before Epstein files are released was more telling than the content (or lack thereof).
  19. Oh come on. This was Trumps first pre announced prime time address to the entire nation during both terms. Its not some random comment while heading to play golf. The fact that so few people watched despite that is a testament to how little credibility people are putting into his statements.
  20. Thats a response id expect from Cubs - but what about Biden... The President announced a prime time speech that was carried on almost every news network. Its hardly "paying attention to every word", it was a widely marketed speech using a forum that every other President uses to announce major issues. This was a yelling whine fest that could have been a Twitter post. And his decline is becoming hard to ignore.
  21. I agree with most of this. Unfortunately, having insurers push back on procedures and costs, while good for the system as a whole, adds to their hatred by society. Look at Luigi and people cheering a murder because they hate insurers so much. I think the proposal to add supply is a good one, albeit with caveats. If insurers could move coverage to new,.lower priced suppliers with some ease it would certainly help cap unchecked price increases. But a lot of people like their doctor more than their insurer so you risk losing customers even if the pricing is.better.
  22. Thats true in almost every industry except healthcare because its difficult to price shop. If youre urgently ill, price is not a decision factor. Its also a "everyone but me" case. I dont want providers ordering 5 tests at $1000 each to rule out a 1% concern - unless its my kid and then I want every test known to mankind. Deregulation is especially tough because having shady providers is not acceptable to society - esp when most people put 100% trust in those people.
  23. You cannot revamp the system solely from the insurer side. Insurers have profit margins of 1%. And thats enduring all the hate of society (people cheering Luigi). You need to revamp it from the provider side where increased amounts of care lead to increased income and there is little control on reducing that or lowering pricing (except for insurers).
  24. Hence the rise of all the Urgent Care clinics too. No need to go to emergency room (unless its a real emergency) and no need to book a GP visit if its something you want looked at quickly. All of this goes to the supply increase which is expected when prices are through the roof and demand is high. Ultimately its the disconnect between consumers, providers and the payers who have to bridge the other two.
  25. ??? Have you read the forum????
