Rewatched Boardwalk Empire recently. Seasons one through three are absolutely top notch. Season four is disappointing. Season five is non-canonical; I'd recommend skipping.

Wife suggested it. Watched most of the first episode; not impressed until - an exceptional fight scene. Credits roll - "Directed by Gareth Evans". I'm like "oh ok". Gareth Evans directed The Raid (2011). (If you know, you know.)
