Unfortunately, ignoring someone works for when they post, but if someone mentions or quotes a post by that individual, it shows in its entirety (even if you tick the "mentions" option on the ignore screen). I'm not sure if there's a plugin that needs to be added to the CMS, or simply enabled, or if some other plugin, com, module, whatever is interfering with this functionality, but it does require that you actively avoid the stuff you don't want to hear. I just stay aware and if certain usernames are mentioned or quoted, I try to just scroll past and/or focus on other actual information (with varying levels of success obviously). Ticking to avoid mentions does not work for my account. Here's to hoping all the right people don't block my crazy ass, and all the wrong people do.

I didn't pay a whole lot of attention but the one time I went to Starbucks in Bangkok recently, the place didn't have a whole lot of people in it and it was right on the river near Wat Po and a bunch of other tourist favs.

Somebody hipped me up to this sub r/pyongyang (not gonna do an actual link here 'cause I'm not sure we'd want anyone backtracking it) and at first glance I thought it was satire. Then I read Rule #3 and damn near passed an entire grilled cheese sandwich through my nose. I got lucky when I bought EW LEAP's after taking an equity position in 2012. The company was battling Medtronic over TAVR patent infringement. Edward's prevailed and was set up to win more cases, which they did. The price of the stock shot up and I made out like a bandit on the LEAPS. I tried to recreate this with Alcoa and another one that I can't remember and lost on both attempts. I won't say never again but I am more cautious now. Been tempted to try this a few times and thankfully passed. TBF, I'm simply not good at predicting directional moves.

Oh yeah, I should add that I need to practice with an artist beforehand or it'll be mid. Pianists who can do this on the spot, with any material, are friggin' amazing.

I watched a bit of CNA recently and saw a documentary that covered anti-corruption efforts in Singapore over the decades. Pretty draconian at times. I actually did, and do understand what gfp said about your options and ownership strategy, and I enjoy and respect all of your writing. It fits well with my own ideas (sorry to tarnish you by associating it with what goes on in my head but there it is). I too am chronically debt averse. And to go one further, whenever I pass a vending machine, I glance at the coin return and occasionally stick my fingers in to see if there's anything there. Not trying to make a joke here because it's true, and I need to stop it because it's embarrassing (OK, that last part actually was an attempt to create a punchline).

I've done this before too. Backing into a position was the only intent. Turns out I was just picking up nickels and rarely wound up with the position size I wanted, so I quit doing it.
