Love Rory Sutherland. As an other poster has raised.... when our visiting clients, the Golden Arches bathrooms are a savior.....medium quarter pounder meal and then on with business. Too easy. Sure, the food is pretty crap but it’s not about that.
Ah, beverages. Reds, anything from the Barossa but Torbreck a standout. Beers, mostly mass produced euro lagers, preference is Pilsner Urquell but a Saison if I can get is my favourite. Local craft beers on tap when I'm out and about. Mixed drink, CC & Dry.
And sparkling water....tonnes of it.
Great thread idea. Leverage is a continuum obviously... There is a significant difference to using 7% money at 80%+ LVR and 3% money at 33% LVR. I would certainly consider the latter for long term investing if you have adequate cash cover and a reliable income stream.
Coincidentally just ordered this book a couple of days ago, the concept certainly has appeal to a lazy investor such as myself, and who's frictional costs are not insignificant when investing in US equities. 8)
