  1. If anyone still owns Bexil, please DM me. Thanks!
  2. Not much info released, however has anyone looked at the Biofuel/Greenlight proposed transaction. I have a soft spot in my heart for NOL shells merging with OpCos...
  3. If so, what is it called on Sedar? Finally, I do know that holdings are announced after a 10% stake versus 5%, do you guys use anything to track the 13D equivalent? Thanks
  4. Has anyone gotten a hold of the full letter yet?
  5. Any luck finding the reports?
  6. It would be highly interesting to see a the fund's prospectus/ pitch book. I'm sure its making the rounds among some institutions. Also, I wonder what Bruce's plans are for St.Joe, given he is squarely in control.
  7. I'm looking forward to April and the Dinner. Does anyone have recommendations for a hotel in the city?
  8. Merkhet, if you can take notes I'd appreciate it! I'd love to dig more on his NAV valuation process and perhaps his overall view on a few of the holding companies he holds, i.e. Pargesa, Cheung Kong, Exor, Leucadia, etc. Thanks!
  9. If you invest in equity stubs, then you must read the credit agreements and fully understand the Company's covenant position, cushions and ancillary items (equity cures, sweeps, etc). A company can spew FCF, however if their going to breach a covenant, and the lender group isn't full of commercial banks, you'll have a rough situation.
  10. If someone could post or pm the article, I'd appreciate it!
  11. The best part of it for him....he just bought an asset manager with over $250MM in AUM for $1.7MM. I wish I had that kind of deal thrown at me all day long. A huge value and credit negative for BH. I'm curious to what Ragu has to say about this! ;)
  12. If you do find the annual reports, please post them here!
  13. Does reading cornerofberk count? Hopefully we get to hear them speak at the AGM this year.
  14. It's definetly a great way to build your resume for future positions on the buyside. But be warned, from my experience interviewing with a couple sellside shops, a majority of them are the furthest thing from value investors. A lot of the focus in my opinion is relatively short-term. On the flip side, you can build some solid industry connections. I would also look at a corporate credit/lev.fin role at a reputable shop.
