  1. Assuming the mentioned real value arrives, what do you guys plan to do with FIH? Keep holding or sell out?
  2. I have the SP500 right now. By the time the correction happens I would be down more in the index I think. Thinking if I transfer to BRK the drawl down won’t be as bad.
  3. Anyone have thoughts on the SP500 vs BRK today? Out of those two, which would you buy today for the next 10 years and then the ‘long term’? I’m to make this decision within a 401k soon. No taxable event between rebalancing.
  4. Looks like the annual meeting was a live event that can’t be replayed. Did they mention anything about Anchorage? Still on track for September?
  5. Did Sanmar trigger any fees? Since that has failed will the fees be refunded?
  6. I was comparing it to total shares outstanding
  7. Good sign. Peanuts if buybacks stop soon
  8. Ai, take with a grain of salt: “Based on this data, the historical high water mark would be $21.85 per share, reached at the end of 2023. This is the level that the company's book value must surpass for a performance fee to be triggered in subsequent years, assuming the 5% hurdle rate is also exceeded. “ so like hundreds of millions in fees.
  9. The corner of BERKSHIRE and Feefax
  10. 110mm in cash and 8.2mm in shares (this is an expense too) roughly $130mm at todays close. Net -240mm(and growing as FV rises). Thoughts and opinions please?
  11. I’ll have to look at the high watermark. Anyone know why they chose every 3 years. So that fee taken so often means it can’t compound in your favor. The earlier fees would theoretically hurt you more as in investor in the long run, right?
  12. My predicament is the fee structure. If it’s not an issue now due to the undervaluation, what happens when FV is reached?
  13. Can someone explain the Investment advisory fee on deployed/undeployed capital? What’s the purpose of It. Doesn’t it cause an incentive to advise to deploy the capital?
