Parsad Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Little blurb on Wally Weitz and his funds. Cheers! http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Omahas-Other-Oracle-Beats-indie-1230032855.html?x=0&.v=1
tooskinneejs Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 On a related note (not sure if this has been posted before), here is a short video/transcript of an interview with Wally Weitz, Tom Marsico, and Fairholme's Bruce Berkowitz discussing things they wish they would have done--but didn't--during the market crisis. http://www.morningstar.com/Cover/videoCenter.aspx?id=302362
mpauls Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Anyone else here feel like they've hit a (learning curve) wall (or ceiling)? I mean its been a very long time since I've heard or read anything worthwhile. (As it relates to approach, method of appraisal, etc.)
Parsad Posted August 5, 2009 Author Posted August 5, 2009 Nope! There's alot of stuff that I've heard over and over again, but there's also alot of stuff I keep learning about. The circle just gets wider. Cheers!
