It's from a few years back, but Power Corporation of Canada (POW.TO) has obviously been mentioned on the board a couple times already given that historically they've been reasonably good compounders (12-13% annually over the past few decades if I'm not mistaken, though I might be slightly off there).

 

Here Paul Desmarais Jr talks about the history of the company, the global financial crisis, doing business in China as well as some areas they plan to focus on going forward.
