DooDiligence Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Some interesting works here. Spoiler Alert: an autographed 1st of How to Trade in Stocks by Jesse Livermore was #3 at $40,000. https://www.abebooks.com/books/rarebooks/most-expensive-sales-2022?cm_mmc=nl-_-nl-_-C221213-MXP-mosexpAARARE-_-b2cta&abersp=1
Santayana Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 One of the highlights of my career as a bookseller was having one of my sales make this list.

Santayana Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 It was a first edition of Interaction of Color by Josef Albers, the limited edition with the color plates. We sold it to an art museum in Paris. This was a while back, we sold it for $6,000. Now on ABE I see it going for $12k and up.
