I'm almost done reading this book, and I found it pretty interesting. It's a pretty good introduction to various uses and fallacies of statistics.

I checked the index, and no reference to Bill Miller.  Any insight in this book about whether Miller's 15-year streak was more skill than luck, or vice versa?  I guess we can't expect his colleague to address this issue explicitly.  I recall reading somewhere where Whitman pooh-poohed the achievement as being an artifact of the choice of starting month.
