Guest roark33
I am looking for the best intro books, whether they are history, biography, or textbook that could help me better understand the insurance industry. Not really something I know a lot about, so wanting to start from the beginning, but also compile a list of more advanced books. Also, have read MRKL and BRK past letters, but would be interested in any other letters that might be interesting. Thanks.

scorpioncapital
invisible bankers was pretty good, I just read it yesterday. I really liked the chart that showed how many dollars customers actually get paid out for different types of insurance. Title insurance was really the most profitable, it isn't really insurance, just legal research. It was interesting to see that speciality insurance is the best gig in town for companies!
