Could you try to help me locate a Buffett quote? I'm having a senior moment as I try to think of something he said, perhaps in an older shareholder letter, which described how the investor who buys shares of all companies on the market is giving up their advantage. His quote is specifically about how, in intellectual pursuits, not thinking does not give one an advantage. I wish I could be more specific (but then I wouldn't need to bother you with this!). ::) Thank you for your help!

Thank you both. I was interviewed a couple of years ago by folks who put on a finance show at Yahoo!Finance called "Breakout." Otherwise, we keep a low profile. As for the company name, the founder of our firm lived in Cheviot Hills, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, when he founded the company. We like to say, "all of the good names must have been taken." ;)

Hi All, I'm a relatively new member and you guys are really thoughtful. Today I was interviewed at the link below and even though I thought the chat was going to focus more on the economy, markets, Fed, and Berkshire, it was heavy on the precious metals.
