I think you're correct. We're seeing a much different 2nd term, hitting the ground running, using "shock and awe" in lightening fashion, so much so, that the opposition can not keep up with him. Americans are loving it - we are not used to politicians making promises and then actually following through with immeadiate action. We are used to lying and then doing whatever they can to get re-elected -- which mean doing just enough to stay in power and not make any waves. Not this guy - he's here to shake things up monumentally. This is a historic Presidential run.

When you elect a President that runs as the "Great Uniter" and morphs into the "Great Divider" by choosing to use identity politics as his 2nd term election platform, well, then you get division. It's been a horrible turn for the United States, but we can all thank Barrack Obama for making race/gender/etc - as the leading issue in the country as opposed to unity and the feeling that "we are all Americans".
