gates foundation brk selling requirements starting july ,2009

From my re-reading of  web's requirements for the gates foundation,  it seems that we will likely have downward pressure on brk stock for some time to come . As i understand the requirements , gates foundation must donate at least (approximately)$1.5 billion + 5 % during the 12 months following july 1 ,2009.

 

My assumption is that the ~ $1.5billion + annual gift requirement means that the gates foundation would have to create the liquidity from it's "overall stock portfolio"  *(not just by selling brkb shares only ).

 

 

Any clarification of this subject by more knowledgeable board members would be very much apprecaited.
