WarrenWatsa Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I don't know why a historical fact is being reported like it's news. The annual report shared this info almost a week ago and somehow it is 'news.' The funny thing is, I bet some shareholders have reacted to this 'news.' Their loss.
captkerosene Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I don't think that WEB means that float will never grow again. I just think that he has been doing one-of deals that have inflated the current numbers. Since he was trying to lay out some guidance for valuing BRK, he wanted to let us know that float growth was artificially high.
