Gas Prices

I recently put a smaller gas tank in my car so now it doesn't cost me as much to fill up.  Most people don't think about how much they can save by doing this, instead, they focus on the initial outlay.

The only benefit I can think of by doing this is the improved gas mileage by having a small load to carry, but I would think that's minimal.

Maybe it's a metaphor for debt load and a consumerist lifestyle.  By taking on smaller debts, he spends less and thus saves more!  Genius!
