Guest swf83 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I just wanted to get the board's thoughts on the Oakmark brand and family of funds, particulary OAKBX. I have been in this fund for about a year, and have been able to catch a 25% run-up in the NAV price, which for a balanced fund is pretty stellar. I am tempted to take profits, but I am 27 years old and feel like I got a nice "head-start" on a long term position in this fund. Holding it for the next 20-30 years isn't out of question. I am a big believer in Clyde McGregor and Edward Studzinski. Any thoughts on the fund or the Oakmark family of funds?
Guest swf83 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 No one here owns or has done research on OAKBX? I am surprised since the managers are such excellent value investors.
