How can the gov't continue to let the management teams run these companies into the ground? Leaving Nardelli alone, how is it feasible to let Wagoner continue to manage this failing entity after 31 years there? After the Congressional hearings and pomposity? I am not letting many of the financial executives off the hook, because they deserve their own reprimanding, but the car business is not nearly as complex. The new administration needs to set a precedent that abject failure will not be enriched by taxpayer money. They need to have the courage to do what is right versus what is popular.
