Paper and containerboard stocks are notably strong as Perry Capital comes out positive on the group, citing a PWC study regarding the potential for MLP conversion.Perry believes managements can create master limited partnerships for their paper mills to drive share upside potential of 50%-100%, the fund firm says in its Q2 letter.

Funny thing is, if it works for container board, it probably works for newsprint too, and arguably the concentration there could even be better. $RFP.

It would probably not be too useful for RFP considering they don't have taxable income in the US these days and have huge tax shields still available should that change in the future. It's more appealing to the big corrugated container players who are paying taxes today.
