jch548 Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Yesterday I talked to a Seeking Alpha rep. I told him I had $1 to $2mm to invest in common stocks and wanted to know the cost for the "Pro" service. He quoted me $8200 annually. That seems pretty expensive. Told him I wasn't interested. Has anyone joined or received a better price? Thanks.
Hielko Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 The prices I have seen are in the same ballpark. Think they are trying to target investment professionals with their pro-service. Doubt how successful they are though. I have written a couple of pieces for SA Pro and the number of pageviews in the first day is usually very low (and must include a decent number of views from other SA Pro authors)
RhubarbXIV Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Not dissimilar to the SumZero model. It seems to be designed to encourage those who would otherwise be interested in subscribing to submit write-ups. Hard to imagine anyone paying the full price for access.
