Kraven Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Apparently coming out in November. Anybody knows anything about it? For a long time on Amazon it has said that Christopher Risso-Gill (the author of There's Always Something to Do) will be coming out with a new Cundill biography in Spring 2014 called of all things "Routines and Orgies". Here is the exact statement: "Christopher Risso-Gill is the author of 'There's Always Something To Do - The Peter Cundill Investment Approach'. He is currently working on a new, more personal Peter Cundill biography 'Routines And Orgies', which will be published in Spring 2014."
MrB Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Wow, ok. Apparently will be launched at McGill where Cundill sponsors http://www.mcgill.ca/cundillprize/

yadayada Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 http://www.routinesandorgies.com/ Financial Genius/Philosopher/Philanthropist/ Philanderer wow i cant wait to read this amazing book by this amazing Financial Genius/Philosopher/Philanthropist/ Philanderer! he sounds like a guy who takes himself a bit too serious.
one-foot-hurdles Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I thought "There is always something to do" was dry and a little overhyped with mentions from Price and Watsa.. So hope the new book is a reboot and not a sequel.
MrB Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 I have a faint suspicion this might sit on the other end of the spectrum....dry might not readily come to mind when we read it. We'll see. Cundill filled several books over the years with is personal notes, so it will be straight from the horses mouth.
Kraven Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 The book is available for pre-order on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Routines-Orgies-Philosopher-Philanthropist-Philanderer/dp/0773544720/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1401281927&sr=8-3&keywords=peter+cundill
