Fairfax's Early Days

Hi,

 

I'm looking for some early Fairfax history.  Does anyone know how Prem grained control of Fairfax and any of his early trials and triumphs at the firm?  Old articles, etc would be much appreciated.

If you go to Fairfax's website fairfax.ca you can find copies of all the Annual Letters to Shareholders.  The first few years - 85,86,87 will give you great feel for Fairfax in the early days.  I always read them before going to the Annual Meeting to remind me what a great story Fairfax is.
