I may be wrong but didn't Buffett or Munger once say something to the effect that they would much rather pick a guy whose IQ was 140 but who thought it was 120 than the guy who thought it was 160?

I decided to pick this book up after attending an annual meeting in NYC. The CEO seemed to know this book cold and was quoting specific page numbers. With a somewhat silly title, I didn't think I would get too much out of the book, but oh well, I dug in.
Sorry to go slightly off topic but which annual meeting? This CEO sounds like someone I could be interested in partnering with.

How do you mean? Didn't their European acquisitions, done to grow, turn out a bit of a mess? I also don't recall them ever focusing on the capital structure, reducing the share count, etc?

I drive a 1996 Nissan Station wagon I paid $2,250 for several years ago. Its fully depreciated and keeps going and going and going though I've had to patch up a bit of rust. I'd much rather buy businesses than spend money on a new used car.
