Count me in.

Pick a few companies that you like and read through their financial statements. Try to understand how the company makes money, why it has lost money, and try to understand the interrelationships between the three main statements. If you don't understand something, look it up in a book. You might struggle at first, but it will get easier and easier. That's my best advice.
