Indeed, happy 4th and Happy Birthday!

Proud to be an American, although not everyone is. Notice, not surprisingly, lefties are just fair-weather/bandwagon Americans...

I'm sure the British thought the Patriots/Rebels were lefties when they sought independence...thank goodness for lefties!  Cheers!

No one is stopping them from leaving and colonizing somewhere else!

Most of the lefties run all of the tech companies...you would be left with only Twitter.  And you would have nothing to ever watch again on television other than Fox News and 100 Huntley.  Cheers!

The U.S.' 243rd birthday and my 50th birthday!  Made it past my old man and my grandpa...just barely.  Now have to make it another 50 years!  Cheers!

I too am excited to see what life will look like 50 years from now. Looking at what life was like in N. America in the 60s/70s - coming out from the Civil Right Act to use of technology in our lives to connectiveness across the world to drastic reductions in world poverty, advances in women's rights, movements towards racial equality - I'm keen to learn how we live in the coming decades.

In order for some of us to make it another 50 years, might need advances in longevity research - a very interesting, emerging area of research.

Be well!

1.) The British were the lefties. The Patriots were escaping socialistic policies

2.) The world would gladly move on without Google or Twitter. It's funny that all of these "crucial" software companies built their products in the most capitalistic free market system.

But indeed, a day to reflect on the history of this very young nation. All of the sacrifice, hard work, human ingenuity, and progress. Only a handful of generations ago it was formed and she is no doubt a work in progress. It will be interesting to see where we end up in 50 years!

Happy belated birthday!

Just think if British foreign policy over the centuries was less arrogant; the UK would probably still have many of its colonies.  If they had understood taxation-without-representation, we might still be proud Brits. Ok enough with the alternative history.
