Tax consequences for active ETFs?

Would any tax expert please share with me your thoughts on the tax consequences of the active ETFs, such as SSO? It is trading daily to adjust its positions, with a ton of complex derivatives. I would how would someone be taxed when holding this for a few months?

How about other "active ETFs" who are actively managed with positions hand picked like a real mutual fund?
