For those of you who think this election will not change your life one way or another, read this:

http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/heroin-other-drug-users-may-get-a-safe-use-site-in-seattle/

Seattle is controlled by extreme leftists. After legalizing marijuana a few years ago, they now want to legalize heroin. If Hillary gets elected, there is a chance that she will push this everywhere in the US. How do you like about that?

I already know what leftist will reply to this, like, safe-use-site does not mean legalizing heroin. Use your common sense, guys!

Vox is a newbie with 47 posts to date and I would bet near 100% on this post or related politics topics.

Not the kind of guy that helps you make money on an investment forum. I wish that Sanjeev would kick out these parasites.

Hi Cardboard,

If you took the time to go through my posts, you would find that I started a thread on Naspers (JSE: NPN) on July 3, 2014 - it has returned 86% since then. I've also commented on the investment threads related to BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust (BPT), Webster Financial (WBS), and Apple (AAPL), and general discussion topics such as cheap stocks based on EV/FCF, Myers Briggs personality test, the Panama canal, etc.

My posting philosophy is to contribute only when I have something meaningful to add to the discourse or challenge people when I think that the beliefs they are stating are incorrect or ill-formed. There seems to be an abundance of the latter in the political discussions. I'm sorry if my comments have caused you some personal animus, but your reaction of trying to silence people who disagree with you is fundamentally wrong.

It's easy enough to check someone's post history. Why don't you do some due diligence before engaging in slander? I hope you put in a better effort in your investing.

Obama was too busy golfing to take care of the SEALS.

Leftists may jump in and argue that this is false news and blah blah, but we all knew he did the same thing when Louisiana was flooded.

How about you focus on finding great investment ideas from an impending Trump's victory and share it with us. Put your money where your mouth is. Looks like Vox is handily beating you so far. Issuing good rebuttals and making money.

Why do we let political threads devolve into name calling and slandering another person?

Seriously, everyone engaging in this childish behavior just needs to grow up and understand that you're going to encounter people with different values/opinions/priorities than you and it doesn't make them any less intelligent or any less of a person.

Some of my best friends are people who have wildly different political and religious views than me. I welcome it as long as they're well thought and supported. Those are the friends I know that I can engage in intelligent, and civil, discussions about things that matter and get a better understanding of their side, even if I still disagree, than I would ever have had otherwise.

I'd say it's pretty valuable to be able to get along with people who are wildly different in their views and you guys should all give it a try.

While I tend to agree with you, I also tend to cut people some slack online.  The friends you are talking about you probably know in person.  It is much easier to get angry at text on a screen than it is to get angry at an actual human being standing in front of you.  This is the same reason that if a person almost bumps into you while you are both walking you tend to be very nice and even laugh about it, but someone cuts you off in traffic you get pissed (or many people do anyway).  It is much easier to get angry at an automobile than a live person standing in front of you.

Really???

The crap that you are posting from NY Times and other places is equivalent to Republicans saying that Hillary Clinton is sick because she has been seen coughing a few times!

What news sources do you think are credible?

Do you think that the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Time Magazine, and The New Yorker just make up facts?

Do you think Gallup's polls are fraudulent?

Do you realize that muscleman has literally posted about conspiracy theories regarding Hillary Clinton's health?

How about Hillary's health? It doesn't pass the basic health bar to qualify for a president.

Somehow, you posted that same day and yet you never tried to censure him.

The crap that you are posting from NY Times and other places is equivalent to Republicans saying that Hillary Clinton is sick because she has been seen coughing a few times!

She has been coughing, bobbing her head uncontrollably, taking long rest periods between campaign sessions, falling multiple times over the last 10 years and once hitting her head, which necessitated a six month recovery period according to Bill Clinton. She also suffers major memory loss, according to her FBI testimony.

Some evidence (note one of the reporters is visibly startled):

Wouldn't say it's quite a conspiracy theory to doubt she's all there.

Please don't misattribute that quote to me - it was a subquote writen by Cardboard.

Your evidence amounts to:

Hillary Clinton coughed twice on the campaign trail and sometimes clears her throat before she speaks - which if you manipulate like in the second video - you can make it appear like she is coughing.

She was surprised by the volume of a question and reacted in jest according to the person who was there and asked the question. http://elections.ap.org/content/video-proves-clinton-suffering-seizures-not-so-i-was-there

She made a 100% recovery from her accident in six months even though she was back at work one month later.

She gave the "I can not recall" answer that every lawyer would instruct their client to do when asked certain questions by the FBI.

And someone sent her an unsolicited e-mail saying that he was wrong that Provigil was not invented by the military.

"The Democratic presidential nominee appeared to faint on her way into her van and had to be helped by her security, the source said."

From now on, I will just post facts and stop commenting on them, to avoid being called childish, racist, conspirator etc.  :)

Why is someone's health struggles (if she even has them) something to be mocked? If she was super-healthy, would all you Trump fans be supporting her? No, so why does it matter?

Projection.

It's clear as day that Trump has some mental issues and thus is unfit to be President. His supporters know it, but are voting for him anyway out of partisan loyalty. To find peace with themselves, they are trying to prove that HRC is unfit too, based on health reasons.

Here is another clown (or should I say a cartoon). He claims to be a hypnotist and a master persuader whatever that means. He is a closeted Trump supporter but claims he supports Hillary for personal safety. He thinks its funny but he is a coward who has no conviction and seem to go back and forth on who's going to win depending on what polls say. The Trump supporters love him and he loves them back but claims he is neutral.

Look at his prediction today and watch him change his predictions as we get closer to the election. This is unfortunately the story that repeats every four

years. These republicans gets excited by quacks like these who claims victory is around the corner despite what the polls are saying. They lose and then get angry and blame it on everyone else but themselves . I saw that in 2008,'12 and it will happen again.

Nearly 20 percent of Trump’s supporters disapprove of Lincoln freeing the slaves

She was wrong to say "half" but "basket of deplorables" is spot on.

That interweb poll isn't worth the paper it is printed on...How do you know one crackpot didn't vote 500 times?  Heck, I can run a poll on the interweb and given enough time & $ can come up with almost any result.

Perhaps they should have also polled Hillary supporters on the same question.  What would the results be?

There are semi-famous YouTube videos of late night TV shows going to college campuses, amusement parks, malls, Times Square, etc. and asking people odd/simple questions.  The results they get are funny/alarming.  People are funny/weird/stupid, especially when asked ?'s by pollsters.  This is the same type of thing...

I don't know of single Trump supporter who is advocating bringing back slavery.  I also don't know a single Hillary supporter who advocates that either.
